As a part of Swachhata Hi Seva Programme, our NSS students have conducted classes in the Netajinagar Mandal Parishad Primary school of Guntur on the awareness of cleanliness in the surroundings and ban of plastic.
The above programme is organised on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi Day and in connection with the introduction of Swachhata Hi Seva Programme by the Central Government. In addition to the awareness classes, the places in the Netajinagar Mandal Parishad Primary School have been cleaned and essay competitions were conducted on cleanliness and ban on plastic to the students of the school.
The students of the primary school have been advised to reduce the usage of plastic so that environment can be protected and we will be able to handover a pollution free society to the future generations. A pledge has been administered to the students in regard to revival of cleanliness.
Dr.Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy, Principal and Mr.L.K.J.Bhakta Singh, Incharge for National Service Scheme of the college and NSS students have participated in the programme.
