Today on 6th August 2018, Prof. Julie Reviere, Country Director of Germany based International Company, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, has visited Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology and interacted with the students, motivated them to have an awareness on the international education at Germany and sustainable all round development.
Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, Chairman of VVIT-VIVA, associated with the GIZ India Director through her visit to VVIT and APSSDC Siemen’s CoE.
The GIZ, India, is a service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work, dedicated to shaping a future worth living around the world. GIZ has over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment promotion, energy and the environment, and peace and security.
During her speech, Prof. Reviere, told the students that, by the advent of cutting edge technologies, the world has become a small place, and students can learn from everywhere. She advised students to equip themselves with best of the technologies so that; they can contribute strengthening of India. She urged the girl students to use the plentiful facilities at VVIT, like 15 state-of the art technology laboratories, in Siemens CoE to empower themselves with the world class technology in advance.
She also mentioned that GIZ works with businesses, civil society actors and research institutions, fostering successful interaction between development policies.
Sri Sagar, Chairman of VIVA-VVIT, along with other members felicitated the Guest as a token of respect.
