National Voters day has been conducted in the college for students. The students have been briefed on the voting right and the need for them to vote. The voter pledge programme has also been conducted for the students. The students have been informed that for the protection of democracy, every student must use their voting right. The students who have crossed 18 years of age should enrol themselves as voters and should become as responsible citizens. The future of the country is in the hands of voters. The voters should use their valuable vote for the protection of democracy in the country and thereby they will become the protectors of democracy.
The students belonging to National Service Scheme (NSS), have conducted a special awareness programme fo the students and the students have been informed regarding the need for vote. The students have been informed about the items to be thought of while voting. A programme has been conducted by NSS students for enrolling the students who have crossed 18 years of age.
