VVIT’s Prestigious Google Code Lab, the first and foremost in India, has got a fund of 2 Lakh US Dollars from Google Inc., USA, for its establishment and operations. VVIT proudly acclaims the AP State Government for the establishment of Google Code Lab in association with Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), after a year of determined hard work. After receiving an official letter and cheque, Chairman Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar announced that it is a privilege to be a part of this collaboration with Google and APSSDC.

On this occasion Sri Vasireddy Vidya Sagar, appreciated VVIT’s APSSDC Nodal Centre for attaining this distinction. Sri Sagar, reminded that earlier the Google experts visited Andhra Pradesh in 2017 , to finalize plans on opening its first ever “Google Developers Code Lab”, in India. At that time they decided to setup the Labs at APSSDC-Nodal Center in Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology, Nambur.

Sri Sagar also informed that these State-of-the-art Laboratories will aid the students of Amaravati and the sun-rising State Andhra Pradesh to fulfill their thirst for Learning & Development of innovative Technologies. He stated that Google believes that India has a dynamic talent pool and hence Google intended to initiate different technology innovation laboratories and programmes to tap the talent. He envisaged that Google will extract fresh talent emerging from Andhra Pradesh. 

Sri Vidya Sagar, Chairman of VVIT emphasized that the Google Codelabs will provide a guided, tutorial, hands-on coding experience not only for the VVITians but for the entire students and faculty of various Engineering Colleges in the state.

Chairman of VVIT, Sri Sagar, expressed his gratitude to Google Inc., for granting the fund and the cooperation extended by AP State Government and APSSDC in materializing Google code labs. They also promised that they will run the labs with high standards which will benefit all technocrats.
