Dr.M.Y.Bhanumurthy, Senior Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering received ‘Outstanding Faculty in Engineering’ national award during the sidelines of ‘Contemporary Academic Meet (CAM) 2018’ held at Chennai on 07th July 2018.
The award was constituted by Venus International Foundation with a mission to recognize extraordinary teachers who have demonstrated excellence in engaging their students in Inspiring - Innovative - Path breaking ways to ignite their potential and the award is bestowed upon those faculties who have exceptional teaching records and a commitment to high standards of professional life.
Principal Dr. Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy, on this occasion commended the efforts of Dr. M.Y.Bhanu Murthy and advised all young engineering educators to take him as an example, for perfectly balancing the teaching-learning and research-development.
Dr.K.Giribabu, Professor and Head of ECE Department, after congratulating Dr.Bhanumurthy, reminded that Sri Bhanumurthy apart from being a scholarly personality also has profound consciousness towards the society while being adhered to ethics always.
Dr.M.Y.Bhanumurthy while expressing happiness upon receiving the award elaborated that a total of 70 nominees were shortlisted for this prestigious award from a vast majority of nominations received from all over the country in various disciplines and only 07 nominees are shortlisted from Electronics and Communication Engineering discipline.
